Duminica, în după-amiaza timpurie
Mă vâna dorul de gura ta.
Si am mers după tine, cu mintea tulburată.
Te-am aşteptat cuprins de dor, în duminica aceea.
Şi tu nu ai venit.
Te-am aşteptat.
Duminica, în asfinţitul liniştit,
În parcul mic, pe o bancă din piatră.
Şi în timp ce rememoram ce vreau să-ţi spun,
Buzele îmi tremurau, mute.
Şi tu nu ai venit.

Nu mă mai chinui!
Oh, vino odată,
În seara de toamnă cu lună,
Fii primăvara, speranţa fericită a inimii mele,
Buzele tale sarutandu-mă, să-mi fie mângâiere în iarnă.
